Amtrak, in collaboration with the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and other agencies, resumed Cascades service between Portland and Vancouver, British Columbia on March 6. The announcement marked the first time direct service will operate between Portland and stations north of Seattle since 2020.
